Our Story, Mission, and Values
The mission of Haven of Hope is to provide safe, sober, and structured transitional housing for women reentering the community after incarceration. The organization envisions a future where multiple Haven of Hope Houses operate throughout the Mat‑Su Valley, offering women the stability and support they need to achieve long‑term independence.
The program is grounded in six core values: stability, accountability, sobriety, dignity, community, and integrity. These values guide every aspect of the home’s operations, from resident expectations to partnerships with community organizations
Meet The Founder
My name is Kimberly Alvarez, and Haven of Hope Community Solutions LLC was created from both lived experience and a deep commitment to helping women rebuild their lives after incarceration. Stability is a skill, and every woman deserves the chance to learn it in a safe, supportive environment.
This program reflects my belief that second chances are real, and with structure and community, women can rise, rebuild, and reclaim their futures.
